Two Injured in Shooting at Oregon City Parking Lot

Oregon City police are investigating a shooting on Sunday night that left two people injured.

The Oregon City Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the municipal parking lot located at 1220 Main Street at about 8:31 p.m. Sunday, officials said.

Upon arriving, officers located two victims injured in the shooting. One, a 24-year-old male, was transported to Oregon Health & Science University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The second victim, a 21-year-old female, sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

Police did not say what may have led to the shooting but disclosed that the suspect, who remains at large, and victims are known to one another.

The investigation is ongoing, and the Oregon City Police Department is seeking additional information and witnesses to the incident.
