Tyler Francke (“Frankie”)
Tyler Francke is co-owner and founder of Now Hear This Media and its associated properties, including The Canby Current, Now Hear This: Canby (formerly the Canby Now Podcast) and CanbyFirst.com. Francke produces or edits the bulk of the news, history and other content that appears in the Current and on CanbyFirst.com and NHT: Canby.
Francke is an award-winning writer, photographer and documentary filmmaker whose previous experience includes the Woodburn Independent, The Newberg Graphic, Branson Tri-Lakes News and many freelance projects. He is a proud Rotarian, a longtime member of Canby Alliance Church and has served on the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Canby Public Library since 2019.

Joy Strube is the voice of our news broadcasts on our Monday episodes. Joy’s background is in sociology and Christian ministry. She leads the Canby Design Lab, a project to create collaborative, inclusive and sustainable strategies to give everyone in our community a chance to thrive.
James Walton is the voice of our news broadcasts on our Thursday episodes. James is the founder of the Trellis Group, which helps entrepreneurs establish the structure they need to grow their business. He was also (formerly) the host of the Canby Bible College Curiosity Project podcast, and is (currently) a huge fan of Canby.
