Tips Sought in Burglary of Estacada Grocery Store

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in searching for two men accused of breaking into an Estacada grocery store last month and stealing more than $2,500 in vaping products.

The break-in occurred shortly before 1 a.m. March 21, 2021, at the Viewpoint Grocery, which is located at 20179 Springwater Road near Estacada, according to surveillance footage police released Monday.

The video shows two male suspects attempting to pry the door open with a yellow crowbar before breaking a window on the store’s front door.

One suspect acted as a lookout while the other entered the store. The pair made way with $2,600 in stolen Juul refills, according to the sheriff’s office, fleeing the scene at approximately 12:54 a.m.

The burglars caused an estimated $1,200 in damage to the store, which is independently owned.
