More retail is coming to downtown Canby, as the Aurora-based women’s clothing and accessory boutique store Tin & Paisley prepares to open its second location at the Holly Mall this Saturday.
The new location at 249 Northwest 2nd Avenue will host a grand opening from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 2.
Tin & Paisley is an independent, family-owned and operated boutique that prides itself on “helping gals of all ages find clothes that let them shine.”
“The thing I love about this business is love helping women shine,” says owner Angela Walker, who is also a veteran hairstylist with more than 20 years of experience. “That’s one thing I always loved about doing hair: You could make a woman’s day simply by making her feel better about herself.”
The store’s name and brand are inspired by Walker’s two daughters.
“Tin is our rustic, Western side, which is just like my youngest daughter,” Walker explains. “She was a Canby Rodeo queen. And the paisley is my oldest daughter, Hailey. She just loves a good pair of jeans and a comfy cardigan.
“So, we like to say we cater to all girls, whether you’re going to Rotary or a rodeo, a winery or soccer practice.”
The store cultivates a fun, friendly and laid-back atmosphere and offers a wide variety of tops, bottoms, outerwear, shoes, accessories and dresses. Sizes range from small to XXXL and its styles cater to all ages, from teens to seniors.
Walker and her family have lived in the Canby community for years and are thrilled to open a new location in their hometown.
“We are really excited to be in Canby with two other amazing boutiques, Park & Lu and The Barn Door,” she says. “They do an incredible job, and we really think we can help form a good community there with so many great businesses and restaurants in the downtown area.”
The Aurora location will continue, she says, but may shift its inventory to other areas that won’t be a focus at the Canby store, such as house wares.

Tin & Paisley is moving into the corner anchor space previously occupied by Sunshine Athletics. The opening also means a full roster of tenants for the Holly Mall, which underwent a grant-funded façade improvement project last year that included new signage, lighting and fresh paint.
