Update: Canby 19-Year-Old Returns Home Safe

Update: Samuel Stockett has been found and is home safe, family reported Friday evening.

Family and loved ones are continuing their search this week for 19-year-old Samuel “Sam” Stockett, who has been missing from Canby since Monday.

Stockett is 5’10” and 145 pounds, white, with blue eyes and blond hair.

Stockett has a tattoo (left arm) that reads “Life is Extraordinary” and was also a former member of the local Boy Scout Troop 258.

Stockett’s mother, Krista Stockett, is a frequent volunteer and substitute teacher at La Salle Catholic College Preparatory in Milwaukie, which has been sharing updates on Facebook this week.

“While he is not considered a danger to himself or others, he is likely in need of assistance from a health care professional,” the private high school reported Wednesday.

In a public Facebook post, Krista Stockett reported that her son has been receiving treatment for delusions and auditory hallucinations but has been off of medication for about two weeks. She asked for prayer for her son and her family.

If you see Stockett, please contact the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office at 503-655-8211.
