A Portland General Electric crew was held at gunpoint and had their vehicle stolen Tuesday morning in the Eagle Creek area, Oregon State Police said in a statement later that day.

The employees were working near the intersection of Oregon Highway 224 and Southeast Wildcat Mountain Drive in Clackamas County around 8:20 a.m. when a man pulled out a firearm and stole their vehicle, according to police officials.

He reportedly drove away and later crashed on U.S. Highway 26, east of Sandy. The man, whom police did not identify, was arrested and taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
