Mulino Man Killed in Crash on Highway 211 in Clackamas County

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Highway 211 in Clackamas County Friday afternoon, Oregon State Police said.

Troopers and medical crews were called to the crash on Highway 211 near Southeast Eagle Creek Road just after 12:30 Friday afternoon.

Investigators say a blue Honda CRV operated by 69-year-old Bonnie Pickner, of Silverton, was turning onto Southeast Eagle Creek Road when a northbound Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with the CRV.

The motorcyclist, 51-year-old Jade Pruitt, of Mulino, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

“An improperly executed left turn is being investigated as a contributing factor to the collision,” Oregon State Police said.

Highway 211 was closed for two hours while the Oregon State Police investigated the crash, but the highway has since reopened.

A member of Oregon State Police’s Collision Reconstruction Unit responded and investigated the crash. OSP was assisted by ODOT, Clackamas Fire, and the Clackamas County Medical Examiner’s Office.
