Man Arrested for Armed Robbery of Clackamas County Coffee Stand

A Clackamas County man is in jail after robbing a coffee stand in late January, officials reported this week.

According to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, an unknown masked man robbed a coffee stand on Southeast 82nd Avenue in unincorporated Clackamas County on January 23.

The man, whom detectives have reportedly identified as 25-year-old Tanner Sutton Taylor, of Clackamas, held a coffee stand worker at gunpoint before fleeing on foot with the contents of the cash register.

Following an investigation, detectives determined Taylor as a suspect and arrested him at his Clackamas home on Tuesday, February 14.

Taylor allegedly admitted to deputies that he had committed the robbery to support a drug addiction, according to the sheriff’s office.

Taylor was booked into Clackamas County Jail, where he remains in custody on $270,000 bail for charges including second-degree robbery, second-degree theft and failure to appear in a separate identity theft case.

Anyone with further information on this incident or possible criminal activity by Taylor is asked to contact the sheriff’s office tip line by phone at 503-723-4949 or by using the online email form. Please reference case no. 23-001681.
