In sports this week, the Cougar girls rugby team welcomed the Black Bears of Beaverton to Canby on May the 4th. It was Star Wars Day, obviously, but also Senior Day for the Rugby team, and there was a lot riding on the game.
They needed a win to take over second place for the regular season and they did exactly that! The ending was never really in doubt, as the Cougs took a 43-5 first half lead and cruised to an easy victory. Final score, 76-20.
