A driver crashed into a utility pole near Oregon City before 9 a.m. Wednesday, downing power lines on South Maple Lane Road, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.

Maple Lane was closed between South Ferguson Road and South Walker Road Wednesday morning while deputies and Clackamas Fire personnel waited for Portland General Electric to respond to the scene and repair the lines.
No one was hurt, and deputies said they do not know what caused the crash. The driver was not identified.
