Driver Crashes into Boulder Following Landslide near Sandy

A man sustained minor injuries Wednesday morning after colliding with debris left in the roadway following a recent landslide near Sandy.

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office and Sandy Fire District responded just before 6 a.m. to the single-vehicle crash on Ten Eyck Road east of Southeast Bull Run.

A landslide had left debris and large boulders in the roadway, deputies said.

An unsuspecting driver collided with one boulder in the road, sustaining minor injuries, but did not require transport to the hospital.

Clackamas County road crews were requested to remove the debris from the location.
