Crews Respond to Commercial Fire in Clackamas on Halloween Night

While kids and families were out trick-or-treating through local neighborhoods, Clackamas Fire crews were busy extinguishing a commercial fire on Halloween night.

Around 6:45 p.m., crews reportedly responded to a commercial fire on the corner of 130th Avenue and Jennifer Street in Clackamas.

The flames were coming through the south side of a 100-by-200-foot commercial building, as well as the roof, according to officials.

Clackamas Fire says that they were able to prevent the fire from spreading and extinguished the flames rapidly.

Fortunately, a Clackamas Fire station, No. 8, is located almost next door to the location of the blaze.

No injuries were reported. Fire investigators responded to the scene to determine the origin and cause of the fire.
