Cougars Drop Homecoming Game to Lake Oswego, 33-12

It was homecoming this week for Canby Cougars football! Canby High School kicked off Friday night with Cougarfest, feasting food, games, live music and other fun.

The Cougs faced a challenge, hosting the Lake Oswego Lakers, who scored for the first time on the very first play of the game. The Cougars fought hard, as always, but ultimately fell 33-12.

Sophomore Tyler Mead had three catches for 105 yards and a touchdown, while junior Ronan Gay had seven catches, including one for a touchdown, and five tackles on defense.

Next up will be their final league game of the season, as they take on Oregon City at Pioneer Stadium.
