Compose Yourselves for Clackamas Community College’s Annual Creative Writing Conference

Explore the practices and professions of creative writing and publishing at Clackamas Community College’s annual Compose Creative Writing Conference on Saturday, May 18.

Hosted by CCC’s English Department, this year’s event includes a full day of workshops from local authors and publishers in nonfiction, poetry, fiction, publishing and more! Featured writers, editors and publishers at this year’s event include Rene Denfeld, Courtenay Hameister, Kate Gray, Tabitha Blankenbiller, Apricot Irving, Brett Warnock, Kate Ristau and many more.

Compose begins with a welcome address by Rene Denfeld at 9:30 a.m. Workshops run 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 1:45 to 5 p.m. There will be a break for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
