Community Forum On Tap for Canby School Board Candidates

The Canby Current, Canby Education Association, CTV Channel 5 and other local organizations will present a series of impartial community forums engaging with candidates for the Canby School Board.

A total of four seats on the seven-member board will be on the ballot for the May 18 special districts election, with two candidates running for each position.

Position 2: Tom Scott (incumbent), Olga Jimenez

Position 3: Sara Magenheimer (incumbent), Stephanie Smith

Position 4: Mike Zagyva (incumbent), Sherry Smith

Position 7: Angi Dilkes (incumbent), Shelley Vissers

These forums are intended as a service to both the community and the candidates themselves, offering an opportunity for candidates to connect with voters at a time when traditional campaigning may be more difficult due to the continuing pandemic.

Spanish translation for each forum will be available through Zoom, courtesy Bridging Cultures Canby. The Spanish translations of each forum will be available at the following links.
