CCC Alexander Gallery Hosts Virtual Exhibit

The Clackamas Community College (CCC) Alexander Gallery will host a virtual exhibition of the work of Edie Overturf through Dec. 11.

“Disillusionment” is a selection of recent prints, drawings and books that are inspired by feelings of impending doom when reflecting upon the current environment and contemporary political climate.

Overturf uses traditional bookmaking methods in combination with linocut, woodcut, screenprint, monoprint and letterpress printmaking methods to create images and books that elaborate on these issues of concern and inspire dialog.

Overturf’s work has been exhibited throughout the United States and previously supported by The Image Fund Grant and Academic Innovation Grant of the University of Minnesota.

Overturf will speak about her work and process at an informal artist talk via Zoom on Oct. 22 at 1 p.m.
