Canby Wrestling Team Sends Nine Grapplers to State Championships at Veterans Memorial Coliseum

This weekend was a highlight in the careers of many a young grappler: The OSAA State Wrestling Championships at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland.

The Canby Wrestling Team sent an incredible nine athletes to state this year, including Logan Doman, who finished second in his weight class at the league championships two weeks ago, and Three Rivers League champion K’den McMullin.

The Cougar wrestlers have been preparing for this moment all season, and they came in ready to make some noise. Ethan Ensrud, Kaden Boyd and Doman won their first championship round matches by fall; Asher Chaffee took his first by decision, while Dominic Netter won his by major decision.
