The Cougars won their latest dual against a tough Woodburn program last week, but only after falling into a deep hole on points: 34-11. Refusing to give up, the Cougs won five of the last six weight classes to claw their way to a gutsy 41-37 victory.
Canby’s top performers included Ethan Ensrud, who won at 113; Nick Marquez at 120; Cash Montgomery at 160; Kaden Boyd at 170; Logan Doman at 182; Matthew Hagen at 220 and Payton Martin at 285.
