One person is dead following crash on Highway 99E near Gladstone in Clackamas County Sunday morning.
Shortly after 5:15 a.m., Oregon State Police troopers and emergency personnel responded were called to the scene of the crash on Highway 99E near the intersection of Glen Echo Avenue.
Troopers said the crash occurred when a Subaru WRX, driven by 19-year-old Rocky Loring, of Milwaukie, struck a pedestrian in the lane of travel, Rebecca Spaulding, 36.
Spaulding sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased, police said. Northbound 99E was closed for approximately 3 hours.
OSP was assisted by Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, AMR and ODOT.
