Clackamas County deputies on Friday night arrested a Tigard man for allegedly providing drugs to and engaging in sexual activity with an underage girl in Wilsonville on multiple occasions.
Anthony James Lauritzen Jr., 25, was taken into custody shortly before 10 p.m. as part of an undercover sting operation by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office and the Wilsonville Police Department.
Police say they began an investigation after receiving reports that Lauritzen provided drugs to the Wilsonville minor and engaged in sexual contact with her more than once, knowing she was under the age of consent.
Lauritzen then communicated with an undercover deputy, who was posing as a minor female. Police say Lauritzen came to Wilsonville, “with the intent of having sex with a minor.” Instead, he was met by deputies and taken into custody.
During his arrest, Lauritzen was found to be in possession of an illegal concealed weapon.
He has been charged with one count each of luring a minor, contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor, third-degree sex abuse, distribution of a controlled substance to a minor and carrying a concealed weapon.
He is currently being held at the Clackamas County Jail. His bail is set at $24,000.
Detectives are continuing their investigation and believe Lauritzen may have additional victims. The Wilsonville Police Department asks that anyone with information with regard to his criminal activity to come forward.
