Scatter Creek Junction, an antique store and coffee shop known for its homemade pies, fresh-baked scones and fresh Italian gelato, closed its doors Sunday after 13 years in business.
Owner Glenda Hawke said she was retiring and closing the store.
The shop wrapped up its final days with a closeout sale spanning from the day after Christmas until Sunday, Jan. 3, with inventory marked down by as much as 75%.
Located in the historic 1865 Jacob Miley Log House, Scatter Creek was known for its eclectic selection of antiques, gift items and collectibles; its delicious paninis, soups, salads, gelato, baked goods and espresso drinks; and for its laid-back and friendly service.
