A Salem man died in a single vehicle crash on 55th Avenue NE south of Brooks Sunday. Marion County deputies say Alejandro Teran, age 23, was killed in the rollover crash that occurred shortly after 1 p.m.
Based on the initial investigation and witness statements, police believe Teran was unable to safely negotiate the turn for unknown reasons. Deputies have not determined if speed or alcohol contributed to the crash.
