A Portland man was hit and killed while crossing Highway 99E in the Milwaukie area north of Oregon City Thursday night, according to Oregon State Police.
Troopers were called to Southeast McLoughlin Boulevard near Southeast Boardman Avenue at around 7:25 p.m. Thursday evening.
Investigators say the driver of a Toyota Tundra, 54-year-old Bob Weber, of Milwaukie, was going north when he hit a pedestrian, 35-year-old Tetteh Kofi, who was attempting to cross 99E near the intersection with Boardman Avenue.
Oregon State Police said Kofi sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional information about the circumstances of the crash has been released.
