A Colton man was killed in a single vehicle crash on Highway 211 east of Molalla Tuesday.
The collision occurred at approximately 4 p.m. when a 2017 Toyota Tacoma pickup, operated by 28-year-old Jacob Slinkard, went off the road for unknown reasons and struck a tree.
Slinkard sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Hwy 211 was closed for several hours following the crash.
Oregon State Police responded to the incident and was assisted by the Molalla Police Department, Molalla Fire Department, Colton Fire Department and ODOT.
