The good folks behind Ellison Team Homes and Vanessa Zimmerman Academy Mortgage are joining forces again this week to show their appreciation for their clients and the greater community.
Realtor Donna Ellison is hosting the end-of-summer client appreciation event outside her home on 580 NW 4th Ave. in Canby. The free, family-friendly event will include food by TMK Creamery, beer and cider, fun and games for the kids and live music by Rekless Kompany.
“It’s a thank you to all of the wonderful people we’ve done business with, as well as a welcome to our community,” Ellison said. “It’s just our way of saying thank you, we’ve enjoyed doing business with you, etc.”
The two local businesses teamed up earlier this summer to spread the love to local restaurants and community members, handing out gift cards to eateries like Wayward Sandwiches, the Backstop Bar & Grill and Wild Hare Saloon in outreaches we dubbed “dine-in-a-paloozas.”
This week’s event, which is scheduled for 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, is the second iteration of a similar bash Ellison hosted last year. All activities will take place outside and social distancing will be encouraged.
“We just appreciate our clients for their loyalty and trust,” Ellison offered. “We honestly have so many clients we have done business with through the years, multiple homes, even multiple generations. The lives they share with us — we are so honored by that.
“And we really want to thank our community for keeping us sane these last two years, for their willingness to partner with us and the way they love on us. We look forward to a fun evening and can’t wait to celebrate together!”
