Early Thursday morning, Molalla Fire District crews to reports of a fire in a large commercial shop in the Dickey Prairie Road area. (Google Maps) Crews arrived to find the shop fully involved and called for assistance from Canby Fire District, Colton Fire District and Clackamas Fire.
Crews fought for hours to bring the blaze under control. The shop housed logging equipment as well as a few vehicles, and will be considered a total loss, according to Molalla Fire. No one was hurt in the incident, and the cause is still being investigated.
