Clackamas Community College is hosting a free Day of the Dead Celebration (Celebración de Día de los Muertos), and everyone’s invited! The event will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 2 at the CCC Community Center.
Bring ofrendas* for the community altar. Enjoy piñata decorating, face painting, traditional treats, music and much more!
Coordinated by Clackamas Community College Student Leaderships, Unidos Club and Clackamas County Arts Alliance Latino Arts Planning Group. In partnership with Bridging Cultures Canby, Hispanic Interagency Networking Team, Unite Oregon City and the West Linn Alliance for Inclusive Community.
*Ofrendas are objects placed on a ritual altar during the annual Día de los Muertos, such as pictures of deceased loved ones, flowers, sugar skulls, and other small items that your loved one liked/appreciated.
