The Cougars headed to Lake Oswego to face the No. 2 ranked team in the state, and it went…well, it went pretty much exactly like you’d expect. No need to really dwell on it. Final score: 41-7.
The Cougs’ lone touchdown came late in the fourth, when backup QB Andrew Peters connected with sophomore wide receiver Matthew Soles.

The Cougars have looked much better under first-year head coach Jimmy Joyce, but have yet to find their first win as they’ve battled through one of the toughest schedules in 6A.
Their last two games, however, are both winnable ones, as they host 2-5 Oregon City this Friday, and Roseburg (also 2-5) for a non-league match to wrap up the season.
