CCC Theater Students Take Center Stage Online

Clackamas Community College theater students are taking center stage online with several plays that celebrate women writers. Performances include one-act comedies, standup comedy, clown acts and more. The performances will be live on the CCC Theatre Department’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/clackamastheatre.

Zoom-Stage Production of “Trifles” by Susan Glaspell

Dec. 10, 7:30 p.m.

“Trifles” is an early feminist drama by Susan Glaspell. A mystery surrounding the murder of a man is solved by two neighbor women who figure it out through clues surrounding women’s “trifles.” Did his wife do it? Why?

Zoom-Case of “Spreading the News”

Dec. 11, 7:30 p.m.

A classic one-act Irish comedy by Lady Augusta Gregory about the perils of gossip in a small Irish village.
