Clackamas Community College is making it easier to get a business degree. The college now offers four business degrees completely online. Students can earn an accounting assistant degree, an accounting clerk certificate, a human resource management certificate, a human resource management essentials certificate, as well as an administrative professional degree or certificate.
“Whether you are looking to polish your skills in your current position or looking for a new role in business, CCC is here to help,” CCC Business Department Chair Bev Forney said. “We know our students are busy and have jobs. Our online courses make earning a degree work with their schedules.”
This summer, the college is also offering an eight-week course in Beginning Microsoft Office Word 2016, which is also online. This course will teach students the basics of the program, including the ability to create and edit documents in Word. There is no software to purchase for this course as students have free access to download Office 265.
For those who have never been to college, or maybe it has been some time since attending, CCC offers placement advising for students. The college’s placement center advisors work with applicants to find which courses are best suited for their skills — no tests necessary.
