The Canby Cougar track & field team held their first meet against David Douglas this past week.

Top performers included Joey Baguio, who won the women’s high jump and 200 meter, and finished second in the 100 and Matthew Powell, who took first in the men’s 800 meter. Bryce Ard finished first in shot put and javelin, and took third in discus; and Jennifer Torres. She won the women’s 800 and was part of Canby’s winning 400 meter relay team. She also placed second in the 1500.
Up next for track & field will be Canby All Comers Meet on March 27.
