The Canby Cougar baseball and softball teams wrapped up their regular seasons last week and will be in postseason action tonight.
Canby baseball took 2 out of 3 in the closing series against rival Oregon City, closing the season on a high note as they face a tough draw in the first round tonight. They’ll head to Roseburg to take on the sixth-ranked Indians.
Canby softball ended their season with two losses, though both were extremely close, falling 8-9 to West Linn and 6-7 to Banks in non-league play. Their first round matchup is against the 21-6 Jesuit Crusaders, ranked fifth in the state.
