Canby cowboy and professional bull rider Chase Dougherty has been poised and impressive through two rounds at his first NFR (National Rodeo Finals) competition in Las Vegas. He is ranked second through two go-rounds, with a total score of 168.5.
Dougherty trails the leader, Joe Frost, from Randlett, Utah, by fewer than 10 points. His success has also pushed him from fifth to fourth in the world standings with earnings now totaling over $150,000.
He’s just a few thousand away from claiming third place from the next cowboy ahead of him, which coincidentally is also Joe Frost.
The third go-round for the National Finals Rodeo will be tonight in Las Vegas. Go get ’em, Chase!
