The Canby Cougar boys’ basketball team (2-1) has had the opposite start to their season from their hoops counterparts: They kicked things off with a win over Parkrose, then dropped the next two, a narrow 59-61 loss at Grants Pass followed by a 22-point rout at the hands of West Salem.
They’ll have a couple weeks off before the Century Tournament at Hillsboro High School, which starts the day after Christmas.
