The Canby Cougars boys soccer team (1-4-1) earned their first win of the season at home Sept. 19 against Clackamas, 3-1. Senior Kris Lopez (3), junior Alex Romero (14) and sophomore Francisco Cabello (15) scored one goal each in the win.
The boys will hit the road for their next challenge, Sept. 20, against the 3-3 Wilson Trojans of Portland. The non-league contest gets started at 7 p.m.
