The City of Canby plans to reopen all city facilities to the public on Monday, April 5, after being closed for more than a year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
City Administrator Scott Archer previously announced the city planned to enter a phased reopening starting by April 5, but the details had not been finalized until now.
The Canby Public Library will be the first to reopen for indoor browsing and other limited in-person services this Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Canby Aquatic Center has been open, at times, to a very limited degree since September, but plans to increase services in line with the phased reopening plan.
Departments will have amended hours to be open in order to accommodate citizens or those doing business in Canby, while also following Covid-19 guidelines.
Customers wanting to do business in-person must wear masks and abide by all other social distancing guidelines in place. Masks are available upon request, the city said in a press release.
