An abandoned house located outside of Canby near the intersection of Mulino Road and 13th Avenue burned to the ground last night.
Canby Fire District said the 1,600-square-foot structure was fully involved when personnel arrived on the scene at 9:27 p.m. Friday. CFD says no one was living at the home now but there have been reports of squatters in the past.
Because the house was outside the city, all the water had to be hauled in with water tenders. Colton Fire and Clackamas Fire assisted in the incident. Canby Fire says the blaze is under investigation.
