PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two Portland police officers were hospitalized Saturday evening after being involved in a traffic collision in Northeast Portland.

The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. near NE 129th Avenue and Halsey Street, according to Portland Police Bureau officials. The crash involved a patrol vehicle and another car, though the exact circumstances leading up to the collision remain under investigation.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to provide assistance. The two officers were taken to a local hospital for medical evaluation and treatment as a precaution. The driver of the other vehicle was also transported to the hospital with injuries, but none of the injuries were reported to be life-threatening, police said.
