Monthly Outreach Effort
This event is part of an ongoing outreach effort by the Oregon Humane Society and local volunteers. The veterinarian leading the clinic regularly sets up a care table outside Blanchet House once a month, providing consistent help to Portland’s most vulnerable pet owners.
By partnering with community service organizations like Blanchet House—known for providing meals, clothing, and shelter support—the Oregon Humane Society continues to expand its reach to underserved pet owners across the city.
A Lifeline for People and Pets
The initiative recognizes that for many people living on the streets or struggling financially, their pets are family. Offering free vaccines and care helps keep those animals healthy while strengthening the bond between owners and their companions.
The Oregon Humane Society encourages anyone in need of help for their pets to visit the clinic on Tuesday and take advantage of the free services available.
