Kris Kuester’s Artwork on Display Until Year’s End
The Canby Public Library is highlighting the creative works of artist Kris Kuester, whose collection will be featured through December 31. Visitors can explore a range of expressive pieces that blend emotion, mood, and a balance of realism and abstraction.
Art Rooted in Emotion and Expression
For Kuester, art is more than technique; it is a personal form of expression shaped by experiences and perspective.
“I began my art journey during a time when I needed space for myself,” she shared. “I felt a strong desire not only to observe but to create. Along the way, many teachers, workshops and classes helped me grow. Now, I hope my work encourages people to connect with the mood, story, emotion, reality and abstraction within each painting.”
