TUALATIN, Ore. — Book lovers and bargain hunters in Tualatin will have a chance to stock up on reading and entertainment materials this weekend as the Friends of Tualatin Library host their semi-annual Book and Media Sale in the library’s Community Room.
The event begins on Friday, with a special early access hour from 2 to 3 p.m. exclusively for Friends of the Library members. The sale then opens to the general public from 3 to 6 p.m., giving everyone an opportunity to browse through hundreds of books, DVDs, CDs, and other media at affordable prices.
The sale continues on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The final two hours of the event will feature the popular bag sale, where visitors can fill an entire bag with items for one low price.

All proceeds from the event will directly support Tualatin Library programs, helping fund activities such as children’s reading sessions, community events, and literacy initiatives.
Organizers say the sale is open to all ages and offers something for everyone — from classic novels and cookbooks to children’s stories and educational materials. It’s also a great way to give pre-loved books a new home while contributing to a good cause.
The Friends of Tualatin Library, a volunteer-based nonprofit, host these sales twice a year to raise funds and encourage community engagement with the library.
