The Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office released its weekly arrest summary, showing that driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII) led the list of alleged crimes between October 28 and November 2.
On October 28, Corey James Arley Barnhill, 41, of Newberg, was arrested for DUII. He was booked and released. On the same day, Daniel Charles Bangle, 75, of Dundee, was also arrested for DUII and reckless driving. He too was booked and released.
On October 29, Javon Quentin Lockhart, 21, of Newberg, was taken into custody on a warrant issued by Yamhill County Circuit Court for allegedly assaulting a police officer. His bail was set at $5,000, and the case remains open.

On October 30, two arrests were made in Newberg. Robert Francis Brown, 47, was arrested for DUII. No bail was set, and he received an undisclosed sentence related to the charge. Nicholas Alan Hottle, 27, was detained on a hold from Newberg Municipal Court; no bail was set, and his case remains open.
On October 31, John Ray Hall, 45, of Newberg, was arrested for a parole violation. He remains in custody with no bail set, and his case is pending. Also on that day, Luis Cruz Crisostomo, 22, of Newberg, was arrested on a hold from Marion County, with no bail assigned.
Finally, on November 2, Tommie Charles Jennings Jr., 45, of Newberg, was arrested on a hold from Washington County. He was booked without bail.
Throughout the week, most arrests were related to DUII and outstanding holds or warrants. Several suspects were released after booking, while others remain in custody as their cases proceed.
