Authorities believe they may have found the remains of 81-year-old Judith Roberts, who was reported missing in May after disappearing from the West Linn area.
Disappearance in May
Roberts was last seen on May 16, 2025, wearing a pink shirt and driving her 2017 white Volkswagen Jetta. Family and police reported concerns that she may have been experiencing cognitive issues at the time of her disappearance. Despite extensive search efforts, no trace of her or her vehicle had been found for nearly five months.
Vehicle Discovered by Hunter
On October 11, a local hunter discovered Roberts’ Volkswagen Jetta on a remote U.S. Forest Service road outside Brookings, Oregon. The road was described as heavily wooded and overgrown, suggesting the car had been there for some time.
