Woodburn Man Dies in Possible DUII Crash in Clackamas County

A 26-year-old Woodburn man died and three others were injured in a single vehicle crash that occurred on Highway 211 near South Palmer Road, west of Molalla in Clackamas County.

According to Oregon State Police, a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant was southbound on 211 in the early morning hours of Friday, Dec. 21, when it left the roadway for unknown reasons and crashed into a tree.

The driver, 23-year-old Alejandro Bartolo, was transported by ambulance to OHSU for injuries, as was a passenger, 21-year-old Arturo Bartolo Aparicio. Another passenger, 24-year-old Gonzalo Rodriguez-Alvarez, was transported to OHSU by Life Flight helicopter.

A third passenger, 26-year-old Osiel Ancelmo Miguel, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

All four men were Woodburn residents. Alcohol and speed are being investigated as possible reasons for the crash, OSP reports.
