A Portland man was killed Sunday in a two-vehicle crash on Clackamas Highway 224 near Barton Sunday afternoon.
Police say the collision occurred when 88-year-old Violet Sullivan, of Estacada, driving a Buick LeSabre westbound on Highway 224, turned left in front of Russell Nelson, 65, who was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Nelson was flown by Life Flight to OHSU where he was pronounced dead, the Oregon State Police reports.
OSP was assisted by Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, Clackamas County Fire and ODOT.
