Clackamas Community College is hosting “Catching and Responding to Nature,” an art exhibition by Oregon-based artist Lisa Brinkman. The exhibition runs through Feb. 22. An artist’s reception will be held Feb. 2, 1-2:30 p.m.
Brinkman’s fascination with the study of archetypal images, symbols and patterns help guide her art.
“My art springs from a desire to commune with and honor nature through process, materials and with the symbols and images that emerge,” Brinkman said.
In this show, Brinkman uses mixed media to portray visual ideas and metaphors encountered in her day-to-day life.
“Catching and Responding to Nature” is on display in the Clackamas Community College commons gallery on the Wilsonville campus, 29353 SW Town Center Loop East. The gallery is open Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
