Sports is back, Cougar fans!
Despite my strong and repeated assurances that there is no way the summer is over, fall sports have been practicing for several weeks now and are getting ready for their upcoming seasons.
The Canby boys and girls cross-country teams kicked off their seasons on Thursday, hosting Molalla for the Canby Invitational. Both teams showed out in impressive fashion.

Izzy Kacalek, Jennifer Torres, Emma Ulven, Kendal Thomas, and Rachel Bigej cleaned up, finishing first, second, fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively, for the ladies, while Matthew Powell, Joel Ibarra, Tommy O’Neill and Riley Pittman went 1,2,3,4 for the Canby men! Way to go Cougs!
