Power is out in the area of Dickey Prairie Road near Molalla Monday after a log truck left the roadway and damaged a utility pole.
Molalla Fire District crews responded and reported the incident on their Facebook page at approximately 10 a.m. The driver was not injured, officials said.
Fire officials gave no indication of what may have caused the truck driver to lose control.
Significant traffic impacts were expected for the rest of the morning and possibly into the afternoon as Portland General Electric crews and Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office personnel responded to the scene for assistance.
Molalla Fire thanked its neighbors in the Colton Rural Fire Protection District for providing district coverage for other incidents while their crew responded to the wrecked log truck.
