The Cougar boys soccer team got their first league win Thursday as they beat visiting Lake Oswego at home, three to nothing. Junior Ian Quinlan scored two and sophomore Francisco Cabello added one in the upset.
They’ll next take on Oregon City at home—game starts at 7 p.m.—then hit the road to face Tigard on Thursday.
It was a rougher week for girls soccer, as they’ve lost four of their last five after starting 6-0. They fell at Tualatin and at Lake Oswego, each by a score of 4-0.
They’ll stay on the road Tuesday as they take on Oregon City, and finally return home against Tigard on Thursday. Kick-off at 7 p.m.
