Canby Girls Soccer Will Face Glencoe in First Round

The Canby girls soccer team had a strong week last week, winning both of their games to improve to 9-4 on the season and 3-3 in league play. Thursday’s 4-1 win over Tigard at home featured a balanced attack, with goals scored by Lily Lockwood, Madi Miller, Joey Baguio and Claire Wright.

Their final game of the regular season was Tuesday vs. undefeated West Linn. They fell in a close one, 2-0.

The Cougs will now get ready for the playoffs. They’ve been seeded 21st and will take on No. 12 Glencoe, on the road, starting at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
